About Me

Hi I’m Kelly! I’m a wife, mom of two boys, and certified holistic doula and childbirth educator. Originally from the Hampton Roads Area, my husband and I (and our oldest son) moved to Kill Devil Hills in 2020. We both grew up coming here, love the beach, and felt this would be an amazing place to raise our family.

I found my way into birth work after the birth of my first son, I had a hospital birth with Pitocin and an epidural, but what truly impacted me was having the incredible support I received from my doula. Having someone by my side who understood birth and had mine and my husband’s back made all the difference. I realized I wanted to offer that same kind of care to other families.

Since 2017, I have attended VBACS, inductions, home births, and hospital births. I’ve worked as a midwife assistant, and have my Neonatal resuscitation certification. My goal is to make sure you feel informed, supported, and truly cared for every step of the way. Whether you are planning a home birth, hospital birth, or something in between, I’m here to help you feel confident and empowered.

When I’m not at a birth, you can usually find me with a lavender latte in hand, listening to music, or hanging at the beach with my husband, our two boys, good food and great friends.
